My First Out of Body Experience
My first out of body experience occurred many years ago. At the time I had begun having flash backs to previous life times .These instances were happening randomly and suddenly. Suddenly I would be in Egypt or Colonial Virgina or some where else. I wasn’t concerned that I was losing it mentally, though I did have a desire that find out what was going on and why this was happening to me and no one else that I knew.
I had scheduled a hypnotic session the following week where I hoped to have a past life regression and somehow solve the mystery. I would soon learn, that session would be the first of many. Up to this time I had only read about things of this nature and knew no one personally who had undergone this sort of experience. It had taken me months to build up the courage to actually do it.
As was our usual custom, our family went out for Sunday dinner and upon arriving home I intended to turn on football,and lay down on the couch for my highly anticipated and well deserved Sunday afternoon nap. I immediately fell asleep and slept soundly for about an hour. Waking up, I decided another little nap was in order, so I rolled over and fell back to sleep. Suddenly my whole body began to vibrate and as it did it started rising above the couch. Looking down I could see I was laying on my left side with my left arm above my head, the lower part of my body began to rise probably four feet above the couch. Startled, and with a jolt, I immediately checked back into my body resting on the couch.
Thinking about it for a minute, it didn’t seem like such a big deal and I knew I had to find out what was causing this and what the outcome would be. I decided to relax again, soon my whole body was vibrating again and as I rose above the couch, I could see my left arm was clutching onto a silver cord or rod, I instinctively knew if I let go of that sliver cord, I would leave the earth existence and pass on. I almost let go but then realized I had much to accomplish on earth and hung on.As that thought passed through my mind, I immediately settled back into my body and woke up.
As I advanced in my knowledge, I could hardly wait until the time when I would learn how to leave my human form and travel any where I wanted and then return at will.
