"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1 V. 27"And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."
Genesis 2 V.21 to 23
So, what does this all mean, how many times have we read this passage and not really paid any attention as to what the hidden meaning could be. Could it be the ancient texts are trying to tell us the very same things that are being relayed to us via the esoteric teachings? If we were created in God's image, it only makes sense to originally have been created as a dual gender being.

There is only one God, not a male and a female God, so if we were created in his image, we would be both genders in one physical body. I have read that passage many times and it never struck me as to what it could mean until now. To me it makes perfect sense. Man was lonely, and he couldn't reproduce without the female form of his own being, thus the soul split and became two.
We each have many soul mates , those whom we reincarnate time after time, over and over again. through these reincarnations we create and settle karma, time and time again we build up relationships that will last through eternity. We have souls we become extremely attached to, forming physical relationships that give us much pleasure as well as heartache. This is what the earth experience is all about.
However, we have only one twin flame, the other half of our soul.Twin flames are the yin and yang on the highest level. Many times in the past , we may have thought we have met our twin flame, however, most likely it was a soul mate with whom we have strong physical attachments.
Twin Flames
We have now reached a point in the evolution of man where the vibrational frequencies of the earth have reached a level where twin flames can unite. When the two aspects of the soul come together , it creates a magnetic charge which changes our DNA, thus we actually become another aspect which vibrates at a higher frequency than we have known previously. As this happens, the cellular structure of our being changes and we begin remembering our past with our twin flame.There is no union stronger than this,when the time is right , nothing can keep them apart. Often times, when one looks into the eyes of their twin, they see themselves and feel as though they are one. The emotions come straight from the heart and cannot be denied.As we approach 2012, the world and it's inhabitants have some interesting times ahead.
