Sedona Arizona: Cathedral Rock
Cathedral Rock is located in northern Arizona in the tiny hamlet of The Village of Oak Creek, just outside of Sedona . As it was used as a backdrop for many of the American westerns filmed in the area in the 1950s and 60s, Cathedral Rock has become a landmark recognized around the world.
There is however another side to this beautiful and famous rock. In the esoteric world, it is generally known to be a vortex or energy center and as such has an influence on all who pass nearby. What is a vortex you ask? A vortex is the funnel shape created by a whirling fluid or by the motion of spiraling energy. Familiar examples of vortex shapes are whirlwinds, tornadoes, and water going down a drain. A vortex can be made up of anything that flows, such as wind, water, or electricity.
The vortexes in Sedona , as else where on the planet,are swirling centers of subtle energy coming out from the surface of the earth. The vortex energy is not exactly electrical or magnetic, although it does leave a slight measurable residual magnetism in the places where it is strongest.They are best described as portals to other dimensions and realities.
The Sedona area has several vortices, or energy centers, but it is generally known to have four major ones , Bell Rock ,Boynton Canyon, Airport Mesa, and of course Cathedral Rock.
They all display certain types of energy: magnetic, electromagnetic, male and female, or a combination of some or all. People all experience this energy in various ways, some may feel nothing at all.Others may fell a slight tingling sensation with the hair standing up on their arms, while others may sense a past life or extraterrestrial event. Once visiting a vortex and having an encounter, one's life is changed forever.
The energy emitted can and has been measured, Juniper trees growing in the area are a good physical indicator . The stronger the energy, the more of a twist the Juniper trees have in their branches. Instead of going straight down the branch, the lines of growth follow a slow helical spiral along the length of the branch. This spiraling effect can sometimes even bend the branch itself. The effects of the magnetism has actually been scientifically measured.
The energy of Cathedral Rock is feminine, and the actual site of the vortex is located where Oak Creek flows closest to Cathedral Rock.
Humans regardless of sex, all contain different variations of feminine and masculine qualities,that in itself, determines our total personality. These energies need to be balanced in order to live a healthy and productively happy life.
Our Feminine side controls the things one normally thinks of as feminine; kindness,compassion,patience , and consideration.There is always two side to every thing, thus our feminine side also gives us badness or evil.
