Were the Knights Templar's Descendants of Atlantis?

That is an interesting question. First one has to understand how this may be possible.

The Knights Templar's were a very devout religious group that lived during the middle ages. They were Europeans who lived mostly in France and Spain, and they traveled to the Holy Land as a result of the crusades and helped protect many pilgrims as they journeyed to Jerusalem. As such they were very spiritual and were seeking many answers as many of us are today.

As some have read, legend has it  that Atlantis was a huge continent in the middle of what is now the Atlantic Ocean. The Atlantians were a highly developed race, they had developed much technology that exceeds even what we have in today's world. Many developed psychic powers and abilities where they were able to do among other things,  heal the sick and control the weather. 


Many in that culture developed into highly evolved spiritual beings. Legends state it was the misuse of those powers that eventually caused their downfall. Many cataclysms befell the island and it eventually sank to the bottom of the sea.

As a result ,the surviving inhabitants migrated to such places as North America, Europe and Africa.

 Even living in extremely harsh conditions as they would have in Europe at the time, the descendants of Atlantis would have retained some of the knowledge of their ancestors,and being seekers of truth it is only reasonable some would have taken steps to further their awareness. Hence the Knights Templar's came into being.

It is even theorized the Templar's found something valuable in The Temple Mount, because upon returning to Europe from their first visit, they suddenly became very wealthy.

Many people preceded Columbus in visiting The Americas. There are records of vikings and others making the short journey across the northern Atlantic to what is now North America.Quite possibly the Knights Templars were once such people. After many of them were massacred by the French pope, they escaped to Scotland and points unknown, it is even thought some sailed across the Atlantic to what is now upstate New York.

Could the Templar's have brought to America and buried in a forest the very "secrets" they found in Jerusalem?

Some Indian legends state visitors from the east had buried something in the hills of upstate New York, the Native Americans believed the welcomed visitors were also Indians.

At the time Joseph Smith found the gold plates he founded the Mormon religion on,many Indians in the area had knowledge of the plates,and subsequently relayed many legends concerning the visitors who had buried them.

If there was a place once known as Atlantis and it eventually disappeared into the sea it is only sensible some of the survivors would have come to not only Europe, but America as well.

Many believe the American Indians all came from Asia. From what I've seen the characteristics of the Indians in the western United States are completely different than those of the east. The Indians of the west are more oriental in appearance, while the Eastern Indians are more red in color,thus I feel the American Indians came from two different locations, at two different times.

Of course this is all theory, but behind every myth, there is some truth, bearing that in mind, it is entirely possible the Knights Templar's were indeed descendants of  the survivors of Atlantis.
