The Sphinx at Sunset

It took quite some time to work up the courage to undergo my first hypnotic session.

I had been thinking about it for some time, but this was 1982, and my only encounter with past life regression was reading about it in books. I knew no one personally who had even come close to doing something like this.

Many things were happening in my life, I was experiencing a lot of circumstances I couldn't understand on a physical level, there had to be more.

After a couple of months of considering it, I contacted Tom a hypnotist, who lived in my home town. I walked into his office and told him what I wanted to do, asking him if he had ever done anything like this.

His reply, "A couple of times."

That didn't do much to raise my confidence level!

I responded that I needed to think about it and would call him later. Being the last part of October,with the holidays coming up, the next couple of months would be pretty hectic. At least that was my rational!

The holidays came and went, now it was January, and I had no more excuses left, I needed to do it, it was now or never!

The appointment was set for a cold January night. Arriving at Tom's house, he escorted me to his office and the session began.

Tom explained the process to me, explaining that I would be semi conscious during the whole time, and even if he died, I would be able to come out of the trance on my own. That helped my anxiety and I began to relax.

He began  by  getting me to relax , beginning with my feet and working his way to the top of my head.

As I sunk deeper and deeper into subconsciousness, I began to envision other realities! Deeper I went, with his guidance I began to experience an existence prior to this lifetime!

I sensed different periods of time and my existence during those times,a time during our American Revolution, a time in Peru, and Australia, however I felt I needed to go back to a time in Egypt!

I felt myself coming from another planet, a planet that was flat and barren. As my soul began to descend upon planet earth, I sensed that I was gathering all the elements of my body from the atmosphere!

As I descended rapidly to the earth, I found myself standing on a pyramid in Sakarra,Egypt. The weather was very chilly, the sun was setting and I was wearing a burka and had a beard!

A few years later, while visiting Egypt, I came across this very scene, I had come to the Step Pyramid of King Zoshar. Visiting Egypt  and going inside of the Pyramid of Unas,which is close to the Zoshar pyramid, I recognized it as the pyramid that I went inside of while under hypnosis!

Seeing the pyramids in person, I had a foreboding feeling of having been there before!

I had gone back in time , to the 5th Dynasty, 5,000 years ago!

It was only after visiting Egypt and having this feeling, that I began to feel as there might be something to this past life stuff!
There would be more sessions, more learning , and many more visits to foreign lands, all of which would only deepen my belief of reincarnation, spirit life, Extra-terrestrials, and much more.

But for tonight, I had seen enough, it was time to re-enter the "REAL" World!
